  En dröm för esteter, gourmeter och livsnjutare Castello di Guarene är inte bara ett hotell – det är en fullständig upplevelse och en plats man aldrig glömmer. Allt var helt perfekt från första stund. Slottet och omgivningarna är sagolikt vackra, med hänförande vyer och en alldeles särskild atmosfär. Estetiken finns i precis allt: arkitekturen, interiören, konsten, färgerna, materialen och alla omsorgsfullt utvalda detaljer. Varje rum och miljö känns som ett konstverk. Servicen är i absolut toppklass. Personalen är professionell, uppmärksam, varm och genuint trevlig. Vi blev fantastiskt väl bemötta och omhändertagna under hela vistelsen. Rummet var vackert och oklanderligt rent, maten utsökt och spaavdelningen helt underbar. Här möts skönhet, historia, gastronomi, avkoppling och italiensk livskonst på allra bästa sätt. För esteter, gourmeter och alla som uppskattar det vackra i livet är Castello di Guarene ett måste. En drömlik plats och en oförglömlig upplevelse som överträffade våra förväntningar. Vi längtar redan tillbaka och rekommenderar ett besök av hela vårt hjärta!

  Superb stay in the hilltops of Barolo - a superb experience, with some of the best rooms I’ve ever seen.

  Best reception of any place we stayed in Italy. Highly professional staff. The pool and wellness was amazing. The rooms and dining area are incredible. Lovely treats in the room with bags, flip flops, biscuits and a pen knife as welcome gifts. Spectacular surroundings. Incredibly well maintained property. Definitely worth a visit.

  Worst experience - health problems from poor airquality

  The castle is located on a hill with beautiful view and a magnificent entry.

  This air quality and overall indoor environment were such that we began experiencing significant allergy-like symptoms shortly after our arrival. There was a stale and musty smell throughout the rooms, reminiscent of an old museum. I appreciate the hotels effort to preserve the buildings historical atmosphere with old furniture, but it cannot come at the cost of a healthy indoor enviroment if it is marketed as a five-star hotel. We had to leave within three hours of arrival. We paid €2,460 for a two-night stay, with the reasonable expectation of receiving standard, comfort and quality associated with a five-star hotel. Unfortunately , our experience was the complete opposite. We did not get any refund of the €2,460 from the hotel. I choose the hotel because of the good reviews, so hopefully everyone reading this will not have to go through the same experince.
