  Vorsicht: Teilweise inakzeptable Zimmer.

  Gute Reaktion auf Beschwerde.

  Dieses Hotel bzw. die Zimmerkategorie Superior Room ist ihr Geld nicht wert. Schönes Gebäude und historischer Charme. Aber die Erdgeschosszimmer sind quasi fensterlos bzw. zum dunklen Patio. Ungeziefer im Bad. Das Frühstück war auch von schlechter Qualität für diesen Preis. Das Schlimmste: An zwei Stellen tropfte es durch die Decke. Auf die Beschwerde bekam ich ein Zimmer im moderneren Schwesterhotel Oak Ray Heritage Hotel. Das war sehr schön. Anderes Konzept, aber sehr empfehlenswert.

  Hay opciones mejores en Kandy

  Se trata de un hotel situado en plena ciudad de Kandy, a pocos pasos del lago y su centro. EL hotel esta cuidado hasta el mínimo detalle, tiene una zona exterior espectacular, tanto la jardinería como la piscina. Las estancias de recepción son muy bonitas, estilo colonial. EL personal extremadamente amable. Nos sirvieron el desayuno en el jardín con unas vistas increíbles.

  Estuvimos en una de las suites del hotel, grande y elegante, pero con unos problemas graves de humedad. Tiene varias humedades en las paredes de la habitación. Para paliar el ambiente ponen ambientadores muy potentes en la habitación que incluso llegan a agobiar al olfato. Cuando quitas esos ambientadores, el olor a humedad se vuelve muy molesto. Otra cosa a reseñar es que por la noche no hay nadie en el hotel. Necesite de la asistencia de un empleado y no encontré a nadie, te dejan un numero de emergencia pero sin poder llamar porque no tienes numero local. La habitación no tiene teléfono para contactar con nadie. Un hotel de 5 estrellas que no tiene restaurante por la noche, ni siquiera te preguntan si quieres hacer uso del restaurante. Otro aspecto a tener en cuenta, es que la puerta principal del hotel suele estar cerrada, y la persona encargada no suele estar por alli, lo que te obliga a bajarte del taxi y abrir la puerta para subir la cuesta hasta la zona principal del hotel. La piscina de la propia habitación no tiene luz o no supimos hacer uso de ella.

  Enjoyed staying here

  We love their exquisite vintage decorations. And, Enjoyed having breakfast in the garden of this historic mansion.

  The outdoor furniture is worn out and needs repair.

  The staff at Castle Hill Bungalow by Seven Angels, were so nice and attentive to every detail, especially Sisila, who was there to greet us and provde everything we required. He was so friendly and really did treet us as part of the family. In the morning Sisila, ushers us out to the garden where he had set up a table under the shade of a tree, which overlooked Kandy. Once seated he provided us with the most wonderful breakfast with everything arriving with a smile and wonderful hospitality. This property is of the highest qulaity and very old worldy i it's style. all the appointments and detail to design were first class. I would highly recom mend this property for position, quality and friendlyness!

  Felt like home, can’t wait to be back!

  Stunning property! The view of the Sacred Tooth temple and lake framed by the lush trees is to die for. The colonial property is tucked into the landscape and has old world charm. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and there are antiques all over. Service is exceptional. Roshan, the manager, went out of his way to make us comfortable. The caretaker Sisila is an exceptional host and is a magician when it comes to making things happen. Dilshan and Kasu are quiet behind the scenes and very diligent. We felt so much at home… It’s a place you don’t want to leave - we can’t wait to come back!
