    Excellent value with cheerful host Rachel

    The relatively new owners are on a programme of refurbishment to bring out the inherent Georgian splendour of this property. My "Deal" room was spotlessly clean and just big enough for it's double bed, which was extremely comfortable, if want something more spacious ask for "Dover". The freshly prepared breakfast was first class with fine ingredients and all the extras you could ask for - particularly good coffee too.

    The decor and shower were a bit dated, but at the price being charged, and the great location, this was not an issue.

    Beautiful Georgian house in perfect location for town, beach and castle.

    Fabulous house, lovely room with great beds and amazing view. Good shower with really hot water and lovely white towels. Fabulous home cooked breakfast in delightful dining room. Very close to seafront, town and castle. Delightful host.

    Goede locatie maar geen gedenkwaardige service

    De locatie en nabijheid van de ferry en haven

    De handdoek had ondefinieerbare bruine vlekken. Het ontbijt was heel karig - we konden geen geserveerd ontbijt krijgen om 7.45 (wat geen onlogische tijd is als je de boot wil halen). Dit was vooraf niet gecommuniceerd.

    Beyond my expectations!

    The host, Rachel , went out of her way to accommodate early check in and arrange an additional night in the same room. Breakfast was exceptional! Room was large and very cozy. Sitting chairs very comfortable to read a book in the evening. I would highly recommend.
