  Great Apartment

  The apartment was very clean. No bad smells. It did not smell like cigarette smoke, or animals, or mold. It was very clean. It was in a great location. Walking distance to a hospital, a grocery store (Hofer), and the city center to see the Ljubljana Castle, the market, St. Nicholas Cathedral, and the dragon bridge. Not to mention many shops and restaurants. The grocery store was nice so we didn't have to eat out every meal with kids. Up one flight of stairs. The hosts communicated really well. There is a code to the building to get in. Once inside there is a keybox. They give you both codes in advance. It is really simple.

  Nothing. Only thing to mention for future guests is that there are not many lights inside the lobby of the building. Late at night it gets dark so turn on a flashlight on your phone and it is fine.

  The flat is in a superb location, easy walking distance to the train station, bus station and many places to visit. It is a nice size and has a comfortable bed in the bedroom. The instructions to find and enter the property were very good.

  The lights in the entrance area to the block and stairwell don't work, it is very dark in the evening, we had to use the torches on our mobile phones. There is mould in the bathroom, as mentioned in other reviews posted after I booked the flat, and the flat had not been cleaned well. It is very noisy inside the flat due to the busy road immediately outside, you will need ear plugs to sleep even with the windows closed. There is no microwave, tea towels or a sheet for the sofabed despite me sending a message to say I would be using the sofabed and required bedding for it. There was only half a toilet roll despite us staying for six nights. The fridge freezer needs replacing as it does not work properly, it is noisy, takes a long time to cool anything and two of the freezer drawers cannot be opened as they are caked in ice and stuck to the freezer. One of the bedroom blinds is broken and does not go up or down.

  Leider sehr enttäuschend

  Die Lage der Wohnung

  Die Wohnung befand sich bei unserer Ankunft in einem sehr schmutzigen und ungepflegten Zustand. Überall waren Staub und Flecken, und besonders schlimm war das Badezimmer mit starkem, deutlich sichtbarem Schimmel in mehreren Bereichen. Wir haben die Mängel direkt nach unserer Ankunft fotografiert und dem Gastgeber mitgeteilt. Leider wurden unsere Nachrichten und Fotos ignoriert und wir haben keine angemessene Reaktion erhalten. Uns wurde außerdem eine zusätzliche Reinigung am nächsten Tag zugesagt. Diese hat jedoch nicht stattgefunden. Ein weiterer großer Minuspunkt ist, dass die Wohnung über keine Klimaanlage verfügt. Bei warmem Wetter ist das besonders unangenehm, da man die Fenster aufgrund des sehr starken Straßenlärms praktisch nicht öffnen kann. Dadurch wird es in der Wohnung schnell sehr warm und eine ausreichende Belüftung ist kaum möglich. Ljubljana selbst ist wunderschön, aber leider hat der Zustand dieser Unterkunft unseren Aufenthalt deutlich beeinträchtigt. Für den Preis und den Standard, den man bei einer Buchung über Booking.com erwartet, ist dieser Zustand nicht akzeptabel. Wir können diese Unterkunft aufgrund der mangelnden Sauberkeit, des Schimmels, der fehlenden Klimaanlage und des Umgangs mit unseren Beschwerden leider nicht empfehlen

  Die Lage und die Ausstattung der Wohnung sind super. Es ist nett, dass die Wohnung einen kleinen Balkon hat. Grundsätzlich kann man sich dort wohlfühlen.

  Das Badezimmer ist nett eingerichtet, aber der Duschbereich ist ein Problem. Der Schimmel an der Decke sollte bekämpft werden und die Fliesen benötigen eine Grundreinigung.
