    When the heat is off, it's hard to be cheerful.

    The apartment is very clean and located right in the center of town. The kitchen facilities are very good. Overall, it was a solid place to stay. I usually prefer hotels, but except for the problem below, this seems like a better deal than any of the nearby hotels. Nice to have an apartment in the city.

    The first day there was no hot water, so there was no way to take anything but a quite cold shower, and there was no heat. It was fixed by the time I got back in the evening, but it was still uncomfortable. I paid extra for early check-in, because I wanted to take a shower, but there wasn't a whisper of a hint for a break on the price, even though the first night, the stay was far below par. There were lots of little irritations: the usual difficulty in communicating, when booking an apartment through Booking, stinky hallway, the motorcycle practice outside at 10:00, the TV with lots of promise and no CI module, but if I'd had heat, I would have been quite happy with it.
