  Great stay in the heart of Bath

  The location was excellent, the property was great for large groups of people. The management team were quick to respond if we had a question or problem.

  Some things didn’t work efficiently, ie the shower pressure went low if more than one person showering in the house. Some windows won’t open which didn’t help when showering as the steam set off the fire alarms.

  Perfect location and comfortable house. Wonderful city to visit.

  Location was amazing. A short walk to everywhere, restaurants and supermarkets a very short walk away. Beds were very comfortable. We had a minor issue with a blocked sink on day 1, and the management team were very responsive and had it sorted out quickly. There were fans in every room which was very thoughtful and necessary for the heatwave. The house itself stayed lovely and cool thanks to the thick walls. One thing to be aware of - this isn't a fault - just a fact of life with old houses - the showers should only be used one at a time, and if someone flushes a toilet while you're in the shower, you will know all about it.

  We were told on arrival to remove our shoes to protect the white carpets. I'd have preferred to know about this in advance as I'd have brought slippers. Walking in socks on all those stairs was a bit dangerous. However, the non-carpeted floors of the properly were dirty and hadn't been cleaned in a while. I was wearing white socks and they were black by the end of the day. The property also needs more cutlery for the number of people it's hosting.

  Recommend due to amazing location

  Fantastic location right in the centre of Bath. Beautiful bedrooms & bathrooms

  1 small oven, fridge freezer & table only seats 8 people. Not quite big enough for 10/11 people.

  Fabulous!!!

  Host was lovely, location superb, property really well equipped ie hairdryers in every bedroom. Tea, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash all amply supplied. Superb weekend had by all.

  The only slight fault seemed to be the shower in the back bathroom on the third floor was really hot and we couldn’t turn it any cooler.

  Large historic house over 5 floors in fab central location

  The location in central Bath, just a short walk from all the shops and restaurants is excellent. The historic street it's in really feels like you've stepped back in time. For a large group the size of the house is great and it has loads of character. All amenities are provided and some basic provisions in the cupboard, with a choice of supermarkets just a short walk away. The house is a very old lady though and you need to be gentle with her. Linen was clean and beds were comfy.

  The house is clean as long as you don't look too closely, e.g. down the radiators. There's no parking. It was a bit tricky getting the water temperature right in the showers. One of the beds is billed as a double but is only a queen bed so was a bit too tight for 2 sister in laws to share. On the upside there is a put-you-up bed in a ground floor lounge which came in handy.
