    BEWARE OF THIS PLACE !!! NOT A 1 BEDROOM, IT IS A STUDIO and it’s broken and filthy

    Not a 1-bedroom, it is a studio. I checked in late after travelling alone from Vancouver all day with my 3-year-old and I booked a 10-night stay. As soon as I arrived, I quickly realized many things were wrong with the unit. The place was small, which I could have accepted, but the condition was unacceptable: stained and torn linens, clogged sink and shower, broken furniture, and dead cockroaches on the floor and even inside the microwave. The situation became much worse when my 3-year-old sat on the toilet and fell into the bowl because the toilet seat was broken and slipped off completely. It was midnight, we were exhausted, so I stayed the night while urgently looking for another place for the remaining 9 nights. The next morning I informed the host. They ignored most of my messages because it was late, then told me no one was available to fix anything and asked me to check out the next day, saying they would only charge one night. I then had to move accommodations multiple times during my 10-day stay because I was never able to find another place available for the full period. Despite everything, I was still charged $175 for one night out of the $720 total and the refund was not properly handled. Also, I had to contact Booking.com customer service and insist on being sent a review link, as there was no option to leave a review through the platform for this stay, which is very unusual compared to my other bookings., and not safe
