    If updated would be a lovely hotel

    Excellent location and good value for money. Had some good facilities like a kitchenette in our room The host who met us was pleasant and friendly.

    The bedding was stained and the whole place needed updating and decorating. Carpet on entrance very dark, worn and stained. Blinds at windows were broken, walls needed decorating. Guest bed very uncomfortable. Sone of the guests were smoking weed which wafted into our room as they were outside our window. Very noisy all night from upstairs and downstairs and from people outside. We didn’t feel comfortable.

    A very comfortable clean room with a friendly welcome.

    I stayed before at this hotel and was not impressed. I did say I wouldn't choose to stay here again. I had to come at short notice to visit my father who was rushed into Kings Mill Hospital. I wasn't expecting anything other than a passible place. I was really pleasantly surprised. The room, when I opened smelled fresh and clean. Everything was clean and tidy. The man who met me for check in was very friendly and smiling. A very warm welcome. Free 14 hour wi-fi (unlike the 30 mins at the Travelodge!) Tea making facilities.

    The room was very small. I know there are larger rooms, and presume I was allocated a small one because I booked at the last minute. It was big enough for me, though. ensuite toilet with shower and basin.
