  Overrated for the price poorly prepared on arrival, badly maintained, and rigid at checkout.

  Location and space and fast response from the owner

  The stairwell leading up to the apartment has no AC or fan at all, so you arrive already sweating. Then, despite us telling the owner we were on our way, he’d left the apartment’s AC switched off so it was stifling when we walked in and we had to turn it on ourselves. He also hadn’t switched on the boiler, so we had no hot water for the first two days. When I finally complained, he showed me it was a single button press. Basic preparation before a guest arrives. The sheets felt cheap, the door handles on the bathrooms and bedroom were broken I was trapped in the bathroom until my friend let me out and both sinks were blocked, though he did fix those. Checkout was the final straw. He insisted on 11am sharp even though the next guests suppose to check in 3pm as his rules , and turned up with the cleaner at 11:03 to move us out. Not even thirty minutes’ flexibility. Badly maintained, poorly prepared, and seriously overrated.

  Matthew is an excellent host, very kind and helpful. We had everything in the apartament.

  Posizione ottima a 2 minuti a piedi dal porto di Sliema, appartamento accogliente e ben equipaggiato. La differenza la fa Matthew dell’accoglienza, davvero super gentile e disponibile.
