  Great location, but cleanliness and safety concerns

  The apartment is in a great location in Parque das Nações, close to the train station and a shopping mall, making it very convenient for transport and nearby amenities. During our subsequent stay, the apartment was exceptionally clean, which was a noticeable improvement.

  During our first stay, the apartment was not quite ready when we arrived at 15:00, as the cleaning staff were still working and the baby cot had not yet been prepared. These were minor issues for us, but we were concerned when our toddler found two pieces of chewing gum covered in hair and put them in their mouth. We also discovered a significant amount of mould underneath the bath mat in the bathtub. I also received a small electric shock while using the bathroom electrical outlet, although I cannot say for certain what caused it. These cleanliness and potential safety concerns were particularly worrying while travelling with a young child.

  Great apartment, but frustrating deposit refund

  The apartment was very clean and in a great location in Parque das Nações, close to the train station and a shopping mall. Communication with the host was generally timely and polite, and the apartment itself was comfortable.

  When we arrived at around 22:00-22:30, the automatic entry system was not working, so we had to retrieve a spare key from a secret location. It took around 30 minutes to get into the apartment, which was inconvenient after a late arrival. The host was responding very quickly so it helped us to move relatively fast in the problem resolution. The €200 security deposit was supposed to be returned within seven days of checkout, but the refund took about month and a half and required repeated follow-ups. Despite receiving several assurances and specific promises about when the money would be transferred, the deadline kept being pushed back. The deposit was eventually returned only after I said I would report the matter to Booking.com and leave a review. The apartment was clean, the location was excellent, and communication was polite. However, the prolonged delay in returning the deposit felt disrespectful and definitely left a bitter taste. I cannot know the host’s intentions, but the repeated delays gave the impression that honouring the agreed terms was not being treated as a priority.

  Agréable mais dommage pour le bruit et la propreté qui pourrait être plus soignée

  L’appartement est spacieux, très bien situé, près du métro, d’une grande surface, de l’oceanorium, du Tage et ses quais piétonniers.

  Même fenêtres fermées, la circulation est bruyante, jour et nuit, impossible d’ouvrir les fenêtres en raison de ce bruit dans la rue. Climatisation efficace mais bruyante elle aussi. Ménage plutôt sommaire, des poils de chien un peu partout, manquent des petites cuillères.
