    Good potential, but requires much better organization and proactive service.

    The perfect location for a business trip.

    Last night felt less like a relaxing getaway and more like a scene out of a noir novel — the city center was completely blocked by police until late, making travel a headache. But the real friction was the lack of basic organization on the host’s end. ​Luckily, my wife and I are not overly picky guests. When we realized simple essentials like toilet paper were missing, we just went out and bought them ourselves. However, when you are paying for a hospitality service, that is hardly the way things should work. God forbid we needed something crucial that we had no clue about — the only way to request anything was by phone, which at nearly €4 per minute for roaming is a rather bitter pill to swallow. ​I strongly suggest leaving clear written instructions inside the apartment for future guests, particularly regarding payment terms, basic amenities, and house rules. Relying solely on phone calls is both expensive and highly inconvenient for anyone traveling on a tight business schedule. ​Proactive communication is the backbone of hospitality. It would have been far more professional had the host reached out to settle payment details and basics earlier, rather than leaving us completely in the dark. Clearer guidelines on-site would prevent guests from having to chase down the host for every minor detail and would make for a vastly better stay.
