    Casa Ana Tavira

    Thank you for arranging for us to drop our luggage earlier that check in time,  that was helpful. The location of the property was very good,  the bed was comfortable,  the air con was good and efficient and the washing machine

    I'm afraid that we have a few negative points. There were only two teaspoons in the drawer and no teatowels when we arrived but you rectified that on the second day.. One of the kitchen cupboard doors just didn't close properly.  It looked like it was falling off its hinges. The cleaning cupboard had a very bad smell for half of the week.  It smelt musty and a bit like a drain. We think that a mop or similar had been put away wet. There was no towel in the downstairs cloakroom.  We were surprised to see no mattress protector on the bed, just a sheet. Really nice bath towels,  but the bath mat was dirty.  It would have been nice if the back patio had been swept of leaves etc before we arrived. Obviously leaves etc will fall in the week, we accept that, but a clean start would have been good. Finally,  the chair cushions on the patio furniture were very dirty and we were not able to sit on them.  There was a lack of attention to detail which is difficult to accept. I would have preferred to email the owner directly with these issues, but unfortunately the email I sent bounced back, presumably because the booking is complete.

    Best 8 days! Great location, facilities & super helpful host!

    We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was amazing, so quick to walk into the town and nice to be slightly out of the buzz for some quiet. The outside courtyard was our favourite - used this every day! The rooms were very decent sizes, having 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us was such a perk too. The host was so friendly and helpful, left a gorgeous hamper with all essentials and the kitchen was so well stocked with all crockery and seasoning/sauces etc! So grateful for the host allowing us to have a late check out free of charge for our late flight allowing us to extend pour holiday. We will 100% be returning & recommend to friends!

    We loved everything about our stay so very hard to say a negative! Only thing would be there is a slight ant issue but the property provided stuff to help this and it didn’t negatively impact our stay.
