The place is for sale and does not meet the online description. Stay away.
It was located near the Cruise Port…but the UBER costs offset the price of accommodations which may have been closer. It was located in a quiet neighborhood. The proprietor was retired and nice.
No ringing endorsement. It is an old residential home converted into a B&B. The owner resides in the basement. The adult children inhabit the 3rd floor. The rooms are on the 2nd floor and the main floor with the dining room. My room on the main floor opened into the dining room…no privacy here. The room was the size of a walk in closet. Laying on the across the bed allowed me to touch each wall. The wall mounted TV was 3ft from my pillow. There is no way to watch the TV from a chair …I had lay on the bed. The was only room for one old wooden chair. Sit in the chair or sit on the toilet to read a book. The toilet lid would not stay upright so I had to hold it in place to use the toilet. There was no hair dryer in the room. The proprietor’s granddaughter said “women don’t use those anymore “. Bedrooms only. The lounge room was filled with household junk. The breakfast was marginal. I ate when I boarded the cruise ship.

Joan was an excellent host! We needed an overnight option in Boston and Chateau Sur Mer was a short Uber ride from Logan. Comfy bed and lots of breakfast options. Highly recommend!

Good stopover stay for Logan Airport.
Authentic charm of the property and location.for airport departures. Nice neighborhood to explore and excellent restaurants nearby.
