  The view was beautiful and the garden and terrace were really pretty

  We recently stayed at this chalet in the south of Florianópolis, and while there were some positive aspects, overall we left feeling very disappointed. To start with the positives: the view is undeniably beautiful, and arriving to air conditioning and a small welcome treat was appreciated. However, the reality of the property did not match the images or description. The chalet looks stunning in photos, but in person it feels very different. Inside, it is extremely small and tight for two people. Once you’re actually living in the space, it feels more like a dollhouse than a comfortable cabin. The furniture and finishes feel cheap and unstable shelves are wobbly, the tap leaks, and some light switches near the entrance didn’t function properly and even gave small electric zaps when turned on. The mattress was also quite uncomfortable. Cleanliness was another issue. The bathroom walls were dirty upon arrival, and there was a moldy smell coming from the cupboards. Water pressure in the shower and sink was very low, making even basic tasks like washing dishes slow and frustrating. At night, with the bathroom light on, the large window makes the shower visible from outside, which felt uncomfortable in terms of privacy. Because there are houses all around. One of the biggest issues and something that should absolutely be clearly stated in the listing is the access to the property. There is a very steep and demanding 15 minute hike to reach the chalet. First, you walk uphill on the road for about 10 minutes, followed by another 10 minutes up very steep, narrow, and slippery stairs. This is not manageable with a suitcase and barely manageable even with a backpack. We are fit and active people, so we handled it, but anyone with knee pain, mobility issues, heavy luggage, or lower fitness levels would seriously struggle. This was never clearly mentioned in the description, and we genuinely expected to be just a short and easy walk from the beach.

  Tranquila cabaña en el morro con vista a la playa en la bahia de Pantano do Sul

  Las vistas al mar y a los morros circundantes, rodeado de naturaleza y tranquilidad. Completo equipamiento salvo la falta de un pela papas. Baño impecable cuando le encontramos la mano al calentador de la ducha.

  El camino de subida a la cabaña era muy empinado con la mitad del tramo con pendientes de calles y la otra mitad con escaleras de piedra. Se tarda unos 15 minutos en subir o bajar y 20 si está mojado por la lluvia para ser precavidos. Se recomienda no llevar carry on o bolsos grandes, solo mochilas.

  Great stay for those that like long walk,hiking and adventures travel and quiet & relaxing in nature

  View of the property is beautiful , located in a calm part of the island , everything very cozy and clean and host was very nice to accommodate some asks we had

  internet and energy was down for several hours due to storm which due to the location of the property being remote we were on the dark and only option was to sleep all day until storm and energy was back

  Sublime mais quelques éléments de coordination à améliorer.

  Le côté unique et super bien pensé autour de cet établissement. Un lieu qui permet vraiment de déconnecter.

  On a eu un seul couac et c’est dommage. Toutes les instructions pour l’arrivée ont été envoyées et claires, mais il manquait un code pour la porte, qui n’est PAS le même que celui du cadenas. Comme vous pourrez le voir dans les commentaires c’est un lieu où il faut faire une bonne petite marche bien raide et sans réseau. Le temps n’était pas avec nous, mais du coup une personne a dû redescendre au parking sous le tonnerre pour demander le code avant de tout remonter. De plus les taxes et frais sont très élevés et le temps de réponse sur Booking était assez long!
