    Mountain cabin with superb views in a very nice part of Valais, plenty of local activities.

    The host Christian was waiting for us at the location, despite us having an unexpected delayed arrival. Gave us excellent tips for the local area, with plenty of hikes like the Barrage de la Grande-Dixence (the highest dam in the world). The chalet is a rustic mountain cabin, easy-going style. Very quiet area, parking space for multiple cars. Nice garden with superb views and sunshine almost all day except for the early morning. The chalet has 3 bedrooms and can cater for up to 8 - 10 people, there are two toilets and one bathroom with bath/shower combination. Plenty of extra towels and sheets.

    One point to note is there are no empty cupboards for personal storage, you have to live out of your suitcase.
