Simpelweg geweldig!
Tja, waar begin ik? Eigenlijk is dit de perfecte plek in Wengen om te verblijven (al dan niet omgeving Jungfrau!). Het is een prachtig chalet, op een vrijwel perfecte locatie met uitzicht op de Jungfrau bij goed weer (zie foto) en het is perfect schoon. De kookgelegenheden zijn fijn en maken het verblijf een stuk aangenamer (en goedkoper). De gastheer is snel met zijn antwoorden en denkt graag mee om je verblijf nóg beter te maken. Simpelweg geweldig.
Het is niet goedkoop om hier te verblijven. Begrijp me niet verkeerd, de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is eerlijk. Echter betaal je hier niet alleen voor het chalet. Als je iets wilt doen, betaal je daar ook flink voor. Denk aan de treinen/gondolas/excursies/eten. Houdt hier rekening mee in het plannen van je reis en budget! Ten slotte, het huis mist hier en daar wat gebruiksaanwijzingen. De keuken is inductie en vergt wat kennis, de blindering is niet geheel intuïtief en sinds er geen gordijnen zijn is dit wel belangrijk. Ten slotte zijn wat kleine extras iets moeilijker te vinden, denk aan vaatwastabletten die in een verstopte lade boven de prullenbak liggen. Idealiter is dit duidelijker aangegeven. Dit is echter een klein punt ter verbetering, absoluut niet een reden om niet te gaan!

Very pleasant weather, best views and really enjoyed the stay
Excellent view of the snow capped mountains and the Lauterbrunnen valley
Commute from station and return a bit challenging as we had three suitcases and 2 carry bags. Better if property arranges free pickup and drop

The view from this chalet was amazing. Roomy, clean. So Thankful for our luggage ride back to train station.
They didn't have few kitchen supplies and we had to make it work with what we had on hand. If you stay here pretty need to buy supplies for kitchen. It quite a distances downhill and uphill. Otherwise it great chalet.
