    A clean and comfortable place with great breakfast and full kitchen

    The so-called communal kitchen was actually a FULL one, with all the stuff I needed to cook. I only cooked veggies and I I was the only one in the kitchen. But it would have no problems with more users making fancier dishes. I thank Lenka very much for letting me use her cooking oil. Otherwise, I'd have to spend a few euros on a whole bottle and throw away 95% of it. Lenka was also very accommodating. A day before my arrival she informed me that the Chalet had no full-time staff, and I'd have to call her in order to get into the chalet. I told her that my cellular plan did not include voice, and she was willing to watch my messages on whatapp. She also talked to an apartment in Kosice on the phone for me. Breakfast and all-day-long pastries were fabulous. The grocery store is only 5 minutes away and has reasonable prices.

    Very small things: no waste basket in the room (the only one was in the bathroom). No writing desk. No coffee table (for the sofa). No gathering or eating place besides the yard. The breakfast room would be ideal, but it was not officially allowed. The property is some distance from the train 'station' (just a bench and an overhead shelter). It took me 12 minutes to walk, with my luggage.
