The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The chalet was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay including laundry facilities and a very well equipped kitchen. The highlight though was the location. The view from the patio is spectacular. You'd struggle to find a better view anywhere in the world. The chalet is next door to the Pfingsteg cable car and bus stops and a short walk from Girndlewal first cable car station. It's the perfect base for a stay in Grindlewald. If it's available when you're visiting book it, you won't find better accommodation.

Absolute paradise spot in the Swiss Alps - YOU MUST BOOK HERE!
This is our little slice or paradise! Our second visit to Grindelwald and we HAD to book here - Guiseppe and his wife are wonderful hosts and make you feel so welcome. The chalet has STUNNING views of the Eiger from the patio - you could spend all day just sat there looking at the view! Guiseppe keeps the garden immaculate so you can sit an enjoy the outdoor area in peace and quiet. There is a bus stop and Pfingstegg cable car station just outside the front door, so you can be on any of the numerous nearby mountains within an hour! The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms all offer what you need for a base camp while you explore the local area. There is enough equipment to cook a full meal and the bathroom is spacious enough to enjoy a good shower. We visited during a heatwave and were provided a fan but to be honest, the chalet was shaded enough that it didnt get too hot anyway! If you are doubting whether to book here - YOU SHOULD BOOK HERE! It is a slice of paradise and if we had to money we would move here!
We love it because it sits just outside the main strip of the town and is peaceful and quiet. However, it might be worth knowing that its a few minute walk from the main shops, down a hill. If you are thinking of booking, double check location. Its STUNNING, but a little out the way of the main amenities (Again, we love this!)

Amazing view
The apartment was spacious and extremely quiet, with easy parking. It was well stocked with everything we could possibly need, including cooking supplies and equipment, and a washing machine and dryer. The view was amazing, and the apartment was very well located for everything we chose to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommended the property.
