  Aleksandra & pop 🫶🏻

  We really don’t know how to put this feeling into words… Leaving Chalet Sofija today felt like leaving home. In just a few days, you both became so much more than the people who welcomed us — you became family. 🤍 Aleksandra and Pop, we left with tears in our eyes. There was something about your warmth, your smiles, the conversations, and the way you cared for us that touched us so deeply. And the food… every meal felt like it was cooked just for us, with so much thought and love. The mushrooms, the pasta, and all those little things you quietly did to make us happy — we will remember them forever. We didn’t just taste the food, we felt the love behind it. We came here knowing this place would be special. But we never imagined we would leave feeling so attached to two beautiful souls and a place that somehow became home. Some journeys give you beautiful views. Some give you beautiful memories. And once in a while, a journey gives you people you never want to say goodbye to. We are leaving with a piece of Chalet Sofija in our hearts, already dreaming of the day we come back and see your loving faces again. We love you both. Truly. 🤍 Until we meet again…

  Exceptional location, a beautiful hotel, and wonderful hosts, but food fell below our expectations

  The hotel's location is outstanding, with breathtaking mountain views and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The room and all the shared areas are beautifully designed and exceptionally well equipped. The hosts are warm and welcoming, and the cleanliness is truly impeccable. Everything is comfortable, finished with high-quality materials, and maintained to the highest standard. Overall, the property fully lives up to its excellent reputation and is a perfect choice for a relaxing stay.

  The only disappointment during our stay was the dinner, which is included in the room rate. After a very promising amuse-bouche, we were served a rather simple warm starter followed by a below-average main course. My husband chose the meat option, which consisted of nothing more than a piece of meat without any side dish. The fish main course was also quite underwhelming and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the dessert did not meet our expectations either. An exceptional—or at least very good—dinner would have gone a long way toward justifying the overall price of the stay, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I also missed having a choice of wines, as only red wine was offered.

  Amazing place to stay.

  Everything was perfect. Aleksandra & Pop and the staff were amazing. We felt so spoilt while we were there. The food and wine was superb. We loved their little dogs - Joy in particular gave us a lot of joy indeed. Views were amazing. Would recommend to stay here if you like luxury.
