    Disappointed due to so much potential

    The location and view.

    The property was very, very dirty. We could not stay and left within an hour. The host was apologetic and we did receive a full refund but it meant we spent 6 hours driving there and home.

    Very disappointed.

    The location was lovely with views over the estuary. Close to amenities and the beach.

    Unfortunately it was not dog friendly, no gates to enclose them. Cooking hob was an old portable electric hob that did not heat up properly. Only a small freezer compartment that did not work properly. TV reception was intermittent.The lodge needs air conditioning for the hotter weather, we did not sleep at night. The decking area photos are not the same, the area is a lot smaller now with less furniture, so misleading photos. The grounds below to the moorings are tatty and unkept. I rang and left two voicemails for the owner to call me prior to the holiday has I had questions with no response. I had to ring again on arrival day for access information to the property, so communication definitely needs improving. Very expensive for just 2 people compared to other cottage’s we have stayed at in the area.

    Fantastic place to stay. Definitely recommend

    The accommodation is clean, warm and has an amazing view from the decked balcony. It is well equipped and had some delicious brownies on arrival. Our hosts were excellent, very welcoming and happy to give recommendations on places worth visiting

    Little bit of heaven by the water.

    Location and views were amazing. And the property owners were incredible. Will definitely stay again.

    A great place for a short break, with a lovely view.

    A very attractive well-equipped small hideaway in a beautiful situation. Hosts friendly and helpful.
