Chandlers lodge

Exceptional B&B with an Outstanding Breakfast
We stayed at Rob and Nat’s B&B in Camelford and it was without doubt one of the absolute highlights of our whole trip. Of all the B&Bs we stayed in, this one stood out the most, especially for its beautiful interior, exceptional cleanliness and wonderful breakfast. Everything is bright, modern, welcoming and very tastefully decorated. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, the bathroom was lovely, and even the hallways and dining room had clearly been designed with great care and attention to detail. The whole house feels warm, cosy and very well looked after. The breakfast was outstanding and probably the most memorable breakfast of our entire journey. There was an enormous choice, and everything was prepared with so much care and passion. The cooked breakfast was excellent, beautifully presented and clearly made with real attention to quality. The yoghurt was especially delicious – wonderfully thick, creamy and absolutely gorgeous. You can really tell that Rob and Nat put a lot of thought and love into what they serve. The room was also extremely well equipped, with lots of thoughtful extras, including a water dispenser and a very generous selection of teas and coffees. Everything was perfectly organised and made our stay very easy and comfortable. Rob and Nat were also incredibly helpful. They gave us an excellent tip about where to park for free when visiting Tintagel, with only a short walk to the attraction. The location itself is ideal for exploring this part of Cornwall, with Tintagel very close by and places such as the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle also only a short drive away, while the B&B itself is in a peaceful and quiet area. There are three parking spaces, including one suitable for electric vehicles, as well as a garden with benches and outdoor seating where guests can relax at the end of the day when the weather is nice. We also really appreciated their focus on sustainability and environmentally friendly choices.

The excellent breakfast, lots of choice and as much as we wanted.Even had bath mat to put in bath to shower, only 2nd b&b weve stayed in.Very clean attention to detail, hosts Rob and Natalie lovely couple.Probably best b&b weve stayed in cornwall!!! Only had basic cosy double room one,but this was excellent, others must be amazing.
Minor criticism, would prefer to have wi fi code in room,as not able to get reception text from Rob,possible o2 problem emergency calls only, but easily solved by asking Rob.
