    Friendly, great value and well located

    Friendly host, cosy and warm, perfect location for us as we were guests at a wedding in Newton Hall. Great value.

    As others have mentioned the railway is very close but the trains stop over night and didn't disturb our sleep.

    Great place to stay on the Northumberland coast

    The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Jill is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent but you will need a car. Five minutes drive to Embleton, a bit longer to Embleton Bay, ten to twenty minutes to other gorgeous beach destinations and about ten minutes to Alnwick. Both the hotel and the pub in Embleton serve food and you can get takeaway. It was lovely to have such peaceful surroundings. We knew about the railway track and the trains passing close to the caravan from the previous reviews, it didn't spoil our stay. We will be back.

    Just a minor annoyance - on our last day we didn't have any wifi connection so we used our phone data.

    Great for a Mighty Hike base

    Very comfortable had everything and super clean

    I’d love to say everything was brilliant but the trains are very close to the caravan and although they stop around midnight it is a main line so where quite often, but you would be hard pushed to find anywhere so clean and comfortable and close to some fantastic places
