    Wonderful neighbourhood but it might not fit the style of people looking for bougie modern or a shiny clean style. We liked the old town feel with bars and cafes and a night life that never ends, record stores, book stores, junk stores, street musicians, graffiti, political posters, etc. Definitely not a neighbourhood for the faint of heart, but we never felt unsafe whatsoever. I found 5 metal and rock oriented vinyl shops within a few blocks of one another and a few more that catered to a softer or jazzier style. Recommend exploring with one of the many rental scooters scattered around as the hills and sidewalks are numerous and you will easily hit 20k steps in a day exploring the area. The flat itself was relatively plain but it's very private and felt very safe and the cats outside are very friendly.

    Nothing that we didn't like.
