  Easy check in, the flat was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable night's sleep before competing in the London to Brighton bike ride.

  Ideal location for restaurants and bars.

  Comfortable Apartment for a Family Weekend in London

  Very nicely furnished and well-equipped apartment. The location was perfect for our needs, with good public transport links and the nearest underground station within easy walking distance. There is a Coop just across the street and a GAIL's bakery right underneath the apartment, which is perfect for picking up fresh bread or enjoying a delicious breakfast or lunch.

  There was a slight odor in the apartment, which we got used to. There was also some recurring mechanical noise at night near one of the bedrooms. It wasn't loud enough to disturb our sleep, but it was noticeable. At first, I thought it was a washing machine on its final spin cycle, but it kept happening throughout the night.

  Die Lage ist wirklich gut. Es gibt einige nette kleine Restaurants und zwei hübsche Pubs (The Abbeville bzw The Windmill - ganz toll!), Supermärkte und kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Bus und Bahn sind gut zu erreichen und man kommt superschnell überall hin. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin ist unkompliziert, schnell und bei Fragen oder Problemen ist sie hilfreich. Wir mochten die Gegend und die spontanen, freundlichen Gespräche mit Einheimischen auf der Straße.

  Die Terasse war quasi nicht zu nutzen, da viele Tauben hier hausen und es dementsprechend aussieht. Auch ist das Dach unmittelbar vorm Schlafzimmerfenster vermüllt und schmutzig, was nur noch mehr Tiere anlockt. Im Flur sowie Schlafzimmer ist ein wirklich unangenehmer und säuerlicher Geruch, der auch mit den aufgestellten Odourcontrol/Geruchsvetnichtern nicht zu bewältigen ist. Sobald man die Fenster schließt, wird es wieder schlimm. Leider ein ziemliches Manko. Irgendwelche technischen Anlagen die sowohl Tags als auch Nachts immer wieder laufen und sich mittels Vibrationen in Wänden und Heizkörpern als echt störend bemerkbar machen (50-60db), sind für ruhesuchende und empfindliche Schläfer sicher schwierig. Wir waren müde genug bzw mit Earplugs ausgerüstet.
