    The only good thing was that we had a place to sleep and wash up.

    Where to start... The hostess gave us a pleasant welcome, but that was the end of the positives. First of all, there was a stale smell in the hallway that they tried to mask with air freshener. Breakfast... I wouldn't even call it breakfast. I know you’ll see this comment, so I hope you take the point: letting your dogs out into the yard at 5 a.m. and allowing them to bark right under the windows... And this happened two nights in a row; it’s a good thing we weren't there for a whole week. The towels smelled overwhelmingly of laundry detergent, and the duvet cover and pillowcase were torn. Trash left by previous guests hadn't been cleared from the bathroom, and the shower holder was missing (though that was a minor issue). But the bathroom window... are you serious? You covered part of it but left a transparent section, and it turns out the window faces the neighbor's balcony—so you step into the shower and the neighbor can see you! We aren't picky people, but this experience was truly poor. At least the room itself looked somewhat decent.
