dreadful experience which could have been risky in a fairly remote location.
didn't get chance to sample it as chateau closed when we arrived. they sent an email 2 days before we left Spain which didn't come through on my mobile. Apparently a death in the family we discovered when we opened up our computer back in the UK. in the absence of us replying the the non received email they could have telephoned our mobile contact number. The entrance gates and outbuildings were all chained up closed, chateau looked as though it hadn't been in use for a while?
see above, Booking.com help to find alternative accommodation was inadequate. Sorted things out ourselves at 6.00pm and found suitable accommodation. If we had arrived any later we would have been in serious difficulty. Still waiting a response from Booking.com.
