Classy stay in a lovely bastide town
Honestly, I thought this place might be a bit stuffy and overpriced. It was neither. Instead, it was one of our favorite stops on our trip and worth every penny. The staff were incredibly kind and gracious and the room very comfortable. But we also loved the beautiful common areas where we spent a rainy afternoon just enjoying the space reading and journaling. We also had one of our best meals of the trip at the restaurant so we we would definitely recommend having dinner there as well.

Mainly very good.
The hotel is beautifully renovated. Bedroom was lovely if a bit small, shower over bath very slippy to get out, a grab handle would help. Air con was not working properly. Lovely views over the valley
The restaurant provides an excellent breakfast but our evening meal was very disappointing. We spoke about this to the proprietors but they told us that there had been no other complaints. Rather a shame as it was a birthday celebration.

Beautiful grounds. Spacious room. Incredible attention to detail by impeccable staff.
The bed mattress wasn’t entirely comfortable. This was the only item not perfect.

the room shouldn’t have said ‘superior’
Very attractive chateau
Our room was classed as superior double - it was an attic room which you would need to be 7 foot tall to see out of the tiny window not good when you’re only 5 foot
