    Great hotel, but spa full of kids swimming groups.

    The staff are good, the hotel is clean with comfortable rooms and beds and pillows. Good sized rooms and buffet breakfast was not bad. Spa area was nice, pool was on the chilly side but a good size. Everything was operational. Massages were good and the relaxation space in the treatment area was lovely.

    If you are booking predominantly to use the spa area, be warned there are children's swimming groups using the pool 8am to 6pm on weekdays and a lot of sessions at weekends too. It is noisy and not relaxing. There is very little seating and only 2 loungers in the pool area, and the children's parents etc. use all the chairs. The room we were in had no bedside sockets or any nearby the bed, and not many sockets available to use full stop. The buffet hot food is passable and there were no continental options.

    Everything was in very good condition (think it's been recently refurbished) and absolutely spotless. The staff were lovely, in particular the staff in the restaurant, and I loved that I had access to the spa facilities. Both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were very nice.

    My bed wasn't the most comfortable.

    Lovely night away with my husband to celebrate his birthday.

    Lovely break. The room was clean and comfortable.

    The spa was a little small but still enjoyable.
