    A truly special place to stay in Penang

    This was the highlight of our three-night stay in George Town, Penang. You can tell the care that went into restoring and maintaining this beautiful, historic property. The staff are top notch, from the friendly main entrance guard who always greeted us with a smile whenever we entered and exited the property to the helpful front desk staff, cleaning staff, and many more. We loved our room, the Mandarin, and the little touches from the decor to the complimentary daily treats and drink cartons. The pool with a switch to turn on the jacuzzi, and garden are lovely as well, and the breakfast buffet had a good variety of food. We joined one of the 3:30 pm tours led by Sally who was informative and entertaining as she explained the history and design of the mansion. Highly recommend anyone visiting George Town to stay here, and if we were to ever return to the city, we would jump at the chance to stay here again.

    A beautiful oasis with wonderful staff!

    The blue mansion was amazing - so beautiful and interesting. Felt like stepping back in time in the best way possible. The staff were wonderful and so welcoming and always greeting with big smiles.

    Fabulous would book again in a heartbeat.

    Amazing old hotel beautifully renovated and filled with history. Very comfortable and cool with a wonderful pool. Great breakfasts and staff were so welcoming and friendly.

    As a guest, we were really pampered and prioritised. The architecture was stunning, the room was clean and spacious, and the activities were enjoyable. No complaints if you're looking for a bit of a luxurious stay.
