  The location is good, as it is a 20-minute walk to the lovely sandy beach. All attractions are just a short drive away, and the area has plenty to see and do. We were out for most of the day and only used the house in the evening. It was nice to have two parking spaces outside the property and a nice garden and dining area, which is accessed via the driveway. The two other sections of the garden weren't used.

  The house was smaller than we thought it would be however, it served a purpose for us during our stay. The house is on the sales market, which explained why it was minimalistic and had a lack of homeliness. The furniture was basic and mismatched, especially in the living room. There was a random piano squashed into the small space and no ornaments or character to the room. The kitchen crockery was mismatched, and there was a lack of cooking items. The twin beds are cheap, wobbly and very uncomfortable. They creaked loudly if you moved slightly, and the two of us couldn't sleep because of the noise. We had no choice but to put the mattresses on the floor, however I had to sleep on the sofa as there was not enough space for both mattresses. There are no carpets or rugs, which meant you could hear all the noises from upstairs, even quiet footsteps. The roller blinds weren't the correct size and in some places only pulled down 3/4 of the length of the doors. There were no mirrors, hooks or hanging space in two of the rooms, so we had to live out of our bags, which took up all the space and didn't allow for toiletries, etc. to be placed anywhere. There was only one shower for 5 of us, this was in the ensuite and nearly flooded each time. The bathroom only has a bath with no shower option. This could easily be resolved by the addition of a shower attachment. The toilets only had one toilet roll each, which were both half used. The huge clumps of dust underneath the bed were unacceptable, and it was apparent the house had not been cleaned for a while, or the cleaner had only completed a light clean. We were not permitted to check in early due to cleaning taking place however, it was obvious no cleaning had taken place that day. We did manage to check in 30 minutes earlier, though. The front door key was faulty, and we had trouble opening and closing the door each time.

  Perfect house for a family or close group of friends

  The house was spacious very clean and had a few special extras . There was as piano which my musician n husband enjoyed playing!
