  The house was very clean and had everything a family with kids would need. The host made sure we have everything we need and left us a very thoughtful gift basket and a thorough guide including restaurant recommendations which we actually picked on a couple of nights out. Moreover, they were very responsive and answered all our questions and accodmated our requests when possible. The location was in the heart of the city with alot of great restaurants and shops around and a mini market 30 sec away. The street that led to the house was very quite despite the fact that it is a very lively neighbourhood. We would definitely choose to stay here the next time we travel to Lisbon.

  Great family home for a summer vacation in Lisbon.

  Cosy beds, little garden, fully equipped kitchen and washing machine, nice and modern bathrooms, Chiado is a central and at the same quiet neighbourhood with good restaurant and shopping options, close to trains (Rossio) and metro

  Excellent séjour dans cet appartement avec toutes les commodités et très bons conseils des hôtes.

  Les 2 chambres avec leurs sdb et toilettes séparés. Le patio très agréable sous le bougainvillier ☺️ L’accueil très attentionné avec boissons fraîches et spécialités 👌 L’accès très facile et l’emplacement au centre du quartier .

  Un peu bruyant du fait de la construction toutefois superbe et authentique.

  Superb location, and well appointed unit make for a perfect stay in Chiado

  This unit is an ideal location for exploring Lisbon. It is well located in the lively Chiado neighborhood. Despite being close to plenty of nightlife, it was quiet. It is only one flight up so you don’t have to carry your bags very far. It is around the corner from two or three superb restaurants. It’s a short walk to the metro. The unit itself was spotlessly clean. It’s nice to have the open patio in the back and bright light. The bathrooms are well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need for a short day. There is generous closet and storage space.There is a very nice market a short walk away. Everything functions perfectly.

  The only issue I would bring up is the beds. One bed is a platform bed. If you can’t get down and up from your hands and knees, then this room would definitely not be for you. Also, that bed is very soft so if you step down on it, you might fall over. I am pretty agile and this was quite awkward.The other room has a standard bed. Both beds are smaller than an American queen size bed so are a little tight for two people. The mattresses seem to be IKEA quality. They are extremely soft and not particularly supportive and you know every time your partner moves. Everything else about the unit is so great, this stands out. I hope the owners will invest in higher quality mattresses. Also, it would be nice to have a small side table in the bedroom with the platform bed. There is not really a counter for the sink so there’s no place to put anything down. The drawers are somewhat awkward for that purpose.
