    Good location but basic rooms

    -good size room with decent AC, WiFi and hot water. -convenient/safe location in a quiet side road, one minute from restaurants, 7/11 etc. laundry place behind for 40b/kg. -bottled water replenished every day even if you don’t request housekeeping. -bed quite comfy/soft by Thai standards. -nice area downstairs with seating outside but seems the hotel caters mostly to Chinese/Korean tourists so no signage in English for the groups they hosted there. Not very social for European backpackers if that’s what you are looking for.

    -rooms not as nice as photos show, basic furnishings and needs some renovation. Bathroom discoloured, cracked floor tiles etc. -no wardrobe or safe. -no bathroom door, only a curtain hung with cable ties. -windows are frosted as they look onto the walkway so not much light. -can only pay in cash. -rarely anyone on reception, one guy doesn’t even look up or say hi. When I left someone asked me to pay when I had already on check in. -noise carries round the building, thin walls and can hear doors closing, toilets flushing etc but no disturbed sleep (not a late night crowd kind of place)
