  Warm, comfortable, great location and super functional.

  Very central to where I was spending 3 days - just a beautiful walk each day - so it was perfect. Apartment itself is well laid out and has everything needed. Comfortable, warm and central.

  Initially surprised by the layout of the apartment complex - but I researched it and love the history of the building and its previous uses. Really nothing not to like.

  Very clean and comfortable apartment overall. We enjoyed our stay very much. Richard advised us to close the curtains leaving the windows open to help cool the apartment. It worked very well. As there was a through breeze, making the apartment not stuffy. The apartment had everything one would need for a few days away. Richard left milk, t/ bags and coffee pods for our use, which was a nice touch also crisps and bottled water and a filter jug in the fridge. We have stayed in many places over the years and I must say this one is definitely one of my favourites. Thank you. 😊

  We couldn't find a beach in Plymouth or surrounding area, that was easy to get to. Ie; the paths/ steps were so steep, some no access due to coastal erosion. I was disappointed.

  Underwhelming

  The host provided plenty of information before the stay which made arriving at the property very easy. It was clean.

  Unfortunately, even though the flat was not bad, there are a lot of small details that really impacted our experience. The biggest issue is that there was not proper blind in the bedroom that was opening directly onto a corridor lit 24/7 so it was never dark in the room. The bed was disappointing: very slim mattress and bedding that felt cheap. There was no shelf in the bathroom for our stuff or toiletry bag. None of the soap bottles had been refilled so they were almost empty. No hook in the entrance for our coats. We were also instructed to sort our rubbish but there was only one bin in the flat (and no extra bin bags although we were staying for an entire week). So I had to carry all our recycling downstairs by hand, only to discover that there was no recycling bin in the building (I even asked a resident). That was frustrating. It felt like only the bare minimum was done and we were disappointed, especially after the very professional welcome emails that we received. We actually left before the end of the trip to go to a hotel, as we really wanted a comfy bed and a dark bedroom.

  A welcoming and cosy stay

  The vibe of the apartment was so welcoming and cosy. The location was brilliant and the place had everything I needed as well as being quiet. The hosts were so helpful and welcoming through their communication and little touches in the way they'd set up the apartment. Can't wait to stay again.

  The walkways outside the apartment needed a little TLC but this was nothing to do with the apartment itself.
