    Experience real Kashmir

    Loved the stay. It was beyond my expectations. Lovely wood carving everywhere, beautiful carpets, well lit and luxurious rooms. There's a common dining and living area which are wonderfully decorated with wooden furniture and chandeliers. The outside area has beautiful view of the lake and you can see the shikaras going by. Both the triple and double rooms are fantastic with amole space and lovely carpeting. Washrooms were clean, had hot water and good plumbing. Essential toiletries, bathroom slippers,towels, drinking water were all available. Air conditioning qith heat mode was also available which was great for the chilly nights. Staff were truly hospitable - the to and fro shikara rudes to ghat were complimentary. All staff and the owner Mr. Aijaz himself were excellent hosts. Food was delicious - just like home cooked meals, full of flavour. Breakfast was good enough with bread , omlette/ poha and tea. We tried to never miss a meal!!

    Better than expected and the photos!

    Extremely acomodating, great communication, excellent meals served on board and on your schedule, good shikara service!
