    Great Place for Chopin Advocates

    We were unexpectedly upgraded to the 100+ Casanowa unit. It was luxurious, quiet, and spacious.

    The elevator is an antique and operational, but we found the stairway to be preferable.

    Hôtel plein de charme, confortable et idéalement situé

    Très bel hôtel installé dans un bâtiment historique de 1910, avec beaucoup de charme, de hauts plafonds et une décoration soignée. Chaque chambre possède son propre thème et porte le nom d’une personnalité polonaise plutôt qu’un simple numéro. Le personnel est très sympathique et accompagne les clients jusqu’à leur chambre à l’arrivée pour leur expliquer le thème choisi. L’emplacement est idéal, au début de la vieille ville, dans une rue calme et à proximité des transports en commun. Depuis l’aéroport, le train ou le bus permet de rejoindre un arrêt situé à quelques minutes à pied de l’hôtel. La chambre dispose d’un grand lit confortable, d’une salle de bains moderne, d’un réfrigérateur et d’une carafe d’eau. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et gourmand. Autre particularité appréciable : un concert de musique de Chopin est organisé chaque soir à 19 h dans l’établissement. Un pot de miel fait maison est remis à la fin du séjour.

    L’isolation phonique n’est pas optimale dans les chambres donnant sur la rue. Dans ma chambre, j’entendais notamment le camion qui réapprovisionnait le Carrefour Express situé en face de l’hôtel avant 7h. Des bouchons d’oreilles sont toutefois mis à disposition dans la chambre. Il manquait également une prise électrique à proximité du lit.
