    Citadines waterfront was our oasis in Kota Kinabalu.

    Citadines was a very nice surprise for us with very specious and well equipped room and the sunset view amazing. Very well located just across the handicraft market and a few steps from the waterfront gave us the choice of a nice walk to buy souvenirs and enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the cafes at the waterfront. Breakfast offers a large variety of local and international and staff is very helpful and kind.

    Everything was good, except the toilet smelled of urine and the floor tiles were sticky. I tried cleaning and wiping it myself, and the smell was gone after that. Hotel cleaners really ought to rinse the toilet floor after guests check out.

    Room was clean, AC and wifi were good, convenience store on the ground floor. Very average. Coffee machine in lobby was a great touch and pitcher to refill water bottles.

    The food at breakfast was cold. The towels were so old and not white and not soft. Everything for a useable kitchen in the room except for dish soap. The residents pool was so very loud early morning and late evening.
