DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING IN PROPERTIES PROVIDED BY THIS HOST.
It was a good location, based on our expectations from the content in booking.com
The unit was not clean from prior guests when we arrived (beds unmade, trash throughout, dirty towels on floor, food left in kitchen), even though we arrived well within the provided timeframe for arrivals. Communicating with the host was less than effective. After 45 minutes of back and forth on whatsapp with the host, they agreed to send someone to clean. It was 7pm after a full day of travel and we were tired and wanting a quiet night in before exploring Venice the next day. However, we had to go out for dinner to leave time for cleaners. We believed we were owed a refund on the cleaning fee and also a credit of some amount, even 10% of the bill, for our inconvenience since we were not really able to access a clean unit until after 9pm. They agreed to the refund but not the concession for our inconvenience. Also, even though they agreed to the refund, it is now two months after our trip and we still have not received! We are actively disputing this with booking.com.
