    Central location in Vilnius a bit outside the more busy and touristy center. Size of apartment was pretty good for three people. Kitchen was well equiped.

    Ground floor apt with windows opening into a busy road intersection. Windows and blinds need to be shut because of noise, pollution and privacy. As result, apt gets stuffy and quite warm in the summer as it gets direct afternoon sun. During hot days, temperatures rise making the stay difficult, especially during night. During our 10-day stay we avoided returning in the apt in the middle of the day and suffered on hot and humid nights. The fan provided was small and not performing well - totally inappropriate for this apt (AC or at least ceiling fans are a necessity). I asked for an additional fan also noting that the one in the apt was not really working. Considering our long stay and the summer temperatures I expected support. I received responses full of understanding but no fan or at least a replacement. I felt that the priority of management was to avoid responsibility suggesting that I should have asked about these details before renting, that this is what the apt features, and that summer temperatures in Lithuania are mild. I even got a reminder that this is not a hotel and that "guests are responsible for obtaining any additional items they may require during their visit". I guess, I had to buy fans... Dissapointing experience in a beautiful city.
