Good host; convenient (but somewhat seedy) location
The apartment is conveniently located and is large and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with paper towels, dishes, cutlery, and cookware. Having a washing machine is a big plus. There are a number of grocery stores within walking distance. I appreciated the responsiveness of the host, Alan. He provided excellent check-in instructions via WhatsApp, including photos, and lots of suggestions for visiting Dublin and surroundings.
My overall rating is low because the neighborhood around the apartment is somewhat rundown and seedy. Panhandlers asked pedestrians for spare change and homeless people slept on the street and in shop doorways. This caused me to keep my guard up at night.

Everything was perfect. Apartment was clean and bigger than I supposed. It was located practically in the very center, so everything was within walking distance. Despite the street and a pub nearby, the apartment was quiet and peaceful. I would truly recommend this place for everyone who is looking for a great place to see Dublin and surroundings
