Nice view, but one of the most overpriced, poorly maintained and disappointing properties I have ever stayed in.
Only the view
We paid €1,344 for four nights (€336 per night), and this was one of the worst places I have stayed in during more than 15 years of using Booking.com. The apartment was old, poorly maintained and very dirty. The walls were dirty, the kitchen was sticky, there was hair under the beds, the towels were old and worn out, and the beds were uncomfortable. Despite charging a €65 cleaning fee, the apartment did not meet even basic cleanliness standards. One of the biggest problems was the bathroom layout, which was not clearly disclosed. Although this is a two-bedroom apartment, there is really only one bathroom split into two separate rooms. The toilet is in one room, while the shower and sink are inside the master bedroom. This meant that the guests staying in the second bedroom had to walk through our bedroom every time they wanted to shower or use the sink. It was awkward, uncomfortable and very inconvenient for everyone. Another major issue that was never disclosed was the elevator. The elevator only goes to the 6th floor, but the apartment is on the 7th floor. We had to carry several heavy suitcases up a narrow flight of stairs. If this had been mentioned before booking, we would have chosen another property. None of the sinks drained properly, and neither did the shower. The air conditioner barely worked and constantly leaked water onto the balcony. The water kept dripping into a bucket, creating constant noise and leaving water all over the balcony. When we told the host about it, instead of fixing the problem, he simply told us we could use the water to water the plants. That was not a solution. The second bedroom had a skylight directly above the bed with no curtain or cover, so the sunlight came straight into your eyes early every morning. Only one key was provided for three guests, and there was no intercom or buzzer.

Fantastic stay with an amazing view and ever better host!
Bram was an excellent host! The properly was fantastic, with great views of the city, access to public transport and amenities. I really enjoyed the attention to detail! He was very responsive to texts during the day and made us feel welcome! We would love to come back again!
