The staff member was uncomfortable to deal with. He invaded my personal space and even entered my room without my permission, which made me feel that my privacy was not respected. I also asked a staff member whether a late checkout would be possible and was told that it would be fine. However, I later found out that this was not the case. Because of the incorrect information, I had to take a taxi back from where I was spending time outside the hotel just to check out. I then had to spend time elsewhere carrying my very heavy luggage, which was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. In addition, when I checked in, the host told me that I would have to pay an extra charge if I paid by card. As a result, I ended up paying more than the amount stated in my original booking. I would have preferred to change hotels at that point, but since my reservation was non-refundable, I reluctantly paid the additional amount and stayed. Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant stay. The staff’s behaviour, the incorrect information about late checkout, and the unexpected additional charge, made the experience even more disappointing.
