A week to remember!
My husband & I stayed here for a week and it was simply wonderful! The location couldn't be better - it is located in the historic center with lots of shops and restaurants around. We enjoyed strolling along the busy streets, most of them pedestrian. The apartment has a large roof terrace with an amazing city and sea view. We sat outside almost every evening with a glass of wine. It was warm enough mid October. The garage is very near and the valet- parking turns out to be a great solution, because you don't have to worry about parking in narrow streets and tight parking spaces - you just leave the car keys and someone else parks it for you. They are open 24 hours. The interior of the apartment is just as shown in the photos. Everything works properly, and for any inconvenience you should immediately contact the property because they answer promptly and they are ready and willing to solve anything. The washing machine is a great addition for people like us travelling with hand luggage only. The kitchen is equipped with all necessities. I came with an idea I might cook for the two of us, but changed my mind. The Cretan food is so delicious and diverse! Go out and explore some small family-run homefood restaurants where locals go to and ask for the daily menu. Whatever you're into, meat, seafood, vegeterian, sweets, you will be amazed by the quality, the taste, the spices. And if you still want to cook, there is everything you might need: dishes, utensils, some basic seasonings (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar). There is a coffee machine (nesspresso), and a sandwich toaster. You will receive a very detailed instruction on how to use all the appliances, how to check-in and what to see. For us, this was a week to remember, we would be definitely coming back to Crete
