    Lovely apartment in old Lucca.

    Lovely older style apartment near the centre of the old town. Michele, our host, was really helpful.

    Small thing but the stairs up to the apartment were a bit tough on 70+ year olds with heavy suitcases. We made it ok though 🙂.

    Przestronne mieszkanie w samym centrum miasta

    Doskonałe położenie, odpowiednia wielkość, dwie osobne sypialnie, rozsądna cena, wyposażenie niezniszczone i stosunkowo nowe.

    Odgłosy ulicy (baru) są odczuwalne, słabe wyposażenie kuchni, mieszkanie jest dość ciemne i panuje w nim specyficzny zapach kamienicy.

    Great location, in the centre of the old city with all facilities close by. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom shower was good.

    Lack of a kettle or coffee machine. There was a cafetiere but the only way to get hot water was to boil a pan on the stove. Providing a kettle would also give the option of having tea instead of coffee. Lack of small, side lights in the living room and dining room. One light had an ornamental plastic bulb. The water tank in bathroom was leaking, this may well have been a fault that only developed when we were there. I did inform the owner. Whilst the location was great there was a fair bit of noise from bar/restaurant below. It was noisy until 2am closing time. I guess you need to decide if location or quiet is the priority.
