We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay (just what we wanted.)
We liked that the staff (Jacqueline and Johnny) stuck to the background, but were available if you needed them. They were very helpful and answered all our questions. It was like we had the castle to ourselves. The Salmon room was spacious and had a lovely view overlooking the River Clare and having a keep outside your window was nice, as well as seeing Lady Elizabeth, the castle’s cat.
It would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast option, but the continental breakfast was very good. Tissues in the bathroom would have been nice.

A gorgeous room in a stunning Manor House set in beautiful grounds
What a wonderful stay. As you drive through the gates you are met by a stunning Manor House set in beautiful grounds. The inside was just as impressive and the room was large and had everything we needed, even had a bottle of red wine waiting for us. The breakfast was continental, but had a great choice. I must recommend the scones, they were delicious. The staff were all very friendly, I would definitely stay there again.
