We really enjoyed our stay in this historic home.
Loved the history of the home Evert was a wonderful host and the room was well equipped with everything you’d want for a comfortable stay. The location was right on one of the oldest canals in Amsterdam. Loved the stair case and wooden floors. The cats were a bonus. The fridge was stocked with water, juice, beer and wine. There was a coffee maker and kettle. Cups, dishes, glasses, spoons. There was tea and coffee in abundance. The bathroom had all sorts of shampoo and bathroom products - no need to bring your own. There were lots of towels and a hairdryer. A library of books.
The bed was two singles pushed together. Comfortable and clean but would have liked a full queen or king. It was a little expensive but we understood that we were paying for the historic experience.
