Absolutely beautiful property, had an amazing weekend
Absolutely loved our stay at Clifton Views. The booking process was straight forward, we were provided with all the information we needed prior to our arrival, including parking. We loved the property, it was so spacious and had everything we needed. We were incredibly lucky with the weather so we spent a lot of time on the beautiful balcony, it was like being abroad. We had our morning tea/coffee on the balcony and then breakfast. Then in the evenings before going out to dinner, we enjoyed a nice glass of wine out there whilst enjoying the most beautiful views. The beds were comfy, as was the sofas. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had such a great relaxing weekend, which was just what we needed, with some beautiful walks and delicious meals out. A plus for me as well, as it was only 2 of us staying, I was able to get a good night's sleep by moving into one of the spare rooms when my husband's snoring got too much! Added bonus.
We loved the place and nothing ruined our stay.. If I could make any suggestions for improvement, it would only be the shower. My husband has broad shoulders, so he could barely fit in, but luckily there was a bath so he could get washed. I'm not a large person and I found it snug. I think if the shower was changed to a square rather than a rounded one, this would solve the space problem. It really wasn't an issue for us though, so its by no means a complaint. It would just make the property perfect with this amendment.

Excellent location, full of quirky retro /vintage charm, amazing views from the balcony, very clean, responsive and helpful host.
Not a problem for us, but I can understand why some others have mentioned the number of stairs to reach the property . As noted above though, the reward is the great views from the balcony.

It was perfect, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed.
The location was perfect and the views of the English Channel and France were spectacular.
The stairs to the 5th floor. No lift available. On the bright side my exercise app gave me extra credit for flights of stairs walked up.
