  The hotel needs a SERIOUS update overall. This is not worth 4*!

  The property was extremely well located with direct access to the beach. The option with food was good with a great snack bar open from 10-5 which was better than anywhere I’ve stayed before. The style of the hotel is what made it feel like a holiday and refreshing compare to the massive buildings you can find on some Spanish coast.

  The first room had no A/C at all. It took me 4 members of staff to finally be taken seriously and move me room after the 2nd night. When we moved to the second room, our view was not as great but we were upgraded with sea view so I am not holding that against them. However, the second room had a non-working fridge and it looked like it didn’t work for a long time… a shame when you are here for 10 days and had to change room once already. I worked in 4* & 5* hotel for a long time and this service was just not at the standard of a 4*. We also had a fire alarm at 10:30pm 1 night before last on our block. we followed the procedure to leave our room, and were standing outside for 30min and NO ONE coming to check on customers (us included) nor informed us if we could go back to our rooms, or where to go. Another customer had to inform the rest of us. When the alarm finally stopped, another one came on about 2min later. At the point no one bothered coming out of their rooms. And again, no one came to check on us… baffling in regards to health and safety. The next morning I have realised that they completely removed the alarms from the wall in order to stop it. (The first alarmed must have triggers the second one as a faulting issue). Once again… health and safety!!! At the restaurant, the staff were droppings lots of cutleries on the floor and some of them didn’t even bother bringing it to the kitchen to clean, but they carried on setting the table with what just fell on the floor. Think about the amount of people walking around the restaurant with flipflops/outdoor shoes etc… Do I dare saying health and safety again?! There weren’t enough staff to clean around and sometimes the terrasses were left with broken glass on the floor due to the wind. H&S….again…
