    Like many others, my reservation was not honored

    Like many of the other reviewers, my reservation was cancelled. I booked through RCI in July of 2025 for a week in August 2026. In May of 2026, the resort decided to cancel my reservation due to some issue. So don't expect that your reservation will be honored.

    The first night we were above the bar and it was very loud. The next day we talked with the front desk and they moved us to another room. The Wi-Fi is very weak and the tvs are not smart tvs!

    Overcharged me and lied about a refund

    Never again! I booked two rooms online at a very fair rate for Newport in the summer. The online rate that I booked, (and saved a screenshot of my confirmation page) is not the rate I was charged at checkout. When I returned home and realized the massive difference, I contacted the front desk manager who agreed with my complaint and told me to file a dispute with my credit card company, and she assured me the dispute would come to her desk where she would immediately approve the refund. Well after many months of back and forth, none of that happened and I got stuck with a much higher rate than this very out of the way hotel was worth! Do yourself a favor and don’t trust this place!
