    Poor sccommodation choice

    Near to visiting relative

    We thought we had paid for the beamed cottage in the photos and were disappointed to find this was not the studio cottage with a garden view as it was so small. Unfortunately, the advertised bed settee was broken and the alternative offered was a camp bed too low down for pensioners and covered in dust. We ended up bringing in our own (higher) camp bed which made things very cramped. There was also dust on the shelf over the bed and the toilet rim was dirty, The bedding for the main bed had ripped holes in it. Parking was an issue too. Even though we found a place, on 2 occasions, we were told to move the car for people leaving to go to work early next morning. The patio door needed fixing as there was a gap letting in the cold air and the 'private' bathroom needed the door to be at least 6" wider to be truly 'private'.
