    I stayed at the apartment labeled East Rock on the ground floor (each rental gets a moniker). The place was really gorgeous, very elegant with its woodwork, shades and the dark red accents everywhere. Everything felt super modern, but not generic like you'd find in a hotel. The hosts respond very quickly to text messages. I would happily stay here again.
